A generation of owners is retiring. In Germany, 545,000 small and medium-sized businesses plan to arrange a succession by the end of 2029, and 569,000 owners plan to close without one. Owners who want to hand over by the end of 2026 are 66.5 years old on average.

Our first acquisition, a heating and plumbing business in North Rhine-Westphalia, is in preparation. After building cleaning come further labour-intensive building services and new regions, starting with Cologne and Düsseldorf.

SAMAS holds at least 75% of every business. Outside investors hold shares only in SAMAS, never in an individual business.

Each acquisition sits in its own company with its own financing, so no business is liable for another. The businesses share purchasing, software and administration.

Every business pays above the collective agreement and shares its profit with the whole team. We report staff turnover and an anonymous staff survey to our investors every year, business by business.
